"Mountain Glory" will take you to the edge of the blue tinged mountain range flanked by a forest of stunning fall birch/aspen trees. You can just feel the shuffle of the leaves on this crisp fall day as you walk forward to get a closer look at the mountain vista.
I paint in thin and thick layers that ultimately catch light and shadows as well as contributing unusual color elements to the image as the next layer is applied. This technique not only creates a three-dimensional quality to this lovely piece (if I do say so myself!) Russets, yellows, oranges, blue and a touch green fills this piece with colors that sing.
