"Fall Reflections" - Artwork

"Fall Reflections" is a new twist on a fall landscape with the focus on a peaceful pond's point of view. Gorgeous fall leaves float peacefully in the pond, reflecting the soaring trees above it on a crisp fall day. This piece combines ultramarine blues, oranges, russets, deep yellows and even touches of purple. 

I paint in thick layers using a palette knife and texture medium that ultimately catches light and shadows as well as contributing unusual color elements to the image as the next layer is applied. This technique not only creates a three-dimensional quality to this lovely piece. I hope you love this as much as I do!
