Watching the Winds - Original Artwork

In this piece, a horse stands quietly against an open field, its gaze steady and soulful as the mountains rise softly in the distance. The palette knife strokes bring strength and texture to the horse’s form, while the sky, alive with movement, carries the sweep of the winds across the canvas. There’s a sense of both power and serenity here—of being deeply rooted to the earth while listening to the whispers carried on the air.

I painted this in my own voice, layering color and texture to express not just what I saw, but what I felt in that moment—the quiet strength of the horse, the vast openness of the land, and the freedom carried in the winds.
