"Guardian of Gladness" - Original

“Guardian of Gladness” is a mixed-media painting that celebrates light, gratitude, and spiritual serenity. I layered collage elements, soft washes of color, and my signature palette knife textures to create a rich sense of depth and dimension. Beneath the surface lie fragments of script, patterns, imagery and a touch of sparkle—subtle reminders of life’s stories and the unseen beauty woven through our experiences.

The angel’s expression embodies quiet joy and peace, radiating calm through the interplay of texture and light. The sculptural iridescent wings, formed with thick palette-knife strokes, rise from the background like waves of movement and grace. The luminous halo and delicate variations in tone invite reflection on inner strength and renewal.

This work represents my ongoing exploration of the emotional resonance that texture and color can create. Through “Wings of Joy,” I aim to remind viewers that hope and light are ever-present—even beneath the layers of time, memory, and imperfection.
