"Showstopper" - Original Artwork

"Showstopper" is a celebration of the texture, color, and flair the gorgeous peacock is known for. I used thick, expressive paint to create my peacock’s frilly feathers and rich blue form, building up the surface to give him movement and life. The greens, teals, and blues feel lush and lively, and I loved letting the paint itself help express the peacock’s natural drama and beauty. This painting made me feel energized and happy while I was creating it, and I hope it brings a sense of joy, confidence, and bold personality to his new space.
