"Snowy Foxling" - Original Artwork

Snowy Foxling is one of those pieces that felt like a little story unfolding on the canvas as I painted. Against the deep, starry night sky, a young fox sits nestled in the quiet of fresh snowfall, gazing out with a calm, curious presence. The evergreen beside it stands tall, dusted in white, almost like a guardian keeping watch.

With my palette knife, I built up thick layers of snowy texture and lively strokes in the tree’s branches so the scene feels crisp and full of movement, yet peaceful at its heart. To me, this painting is about innocence and wonder — that tender stillness you find in winter, when the world feels both vast and intimate. The foxling, small and bright against the expanse, reminds me of the quiet strength and beauty hidden in even the coldest seasons.
