"Coastal Wildfire" - Original Artwork

“Coastal Wildfire”

I was drawn to the contrast of fiery orange blooms against the cool blues of the water in this piece. I wanted the flowers to feel almost untamed, spilling across the shoreline while the movement of the ocean carries your eye into the distance. I love playing with bold color, thick texture, and the way light moves across a surface, and this painting gave me a chance to push all three.

Created using a variety of palette knives, Coastal Wildfire is filled with layers of richly textured acrylic paint, expressive marks, and vibrant coastal color. The warm florals against the blues and greens give it that lively, joyful energy I’m always chasing in my work.
