"Aspen Tranquility"- Artwork

"Aspen Tranquility" is one of my newest tree pieces featuring the wonderful aspen trees in their full  glory just as the hot summer begins to cool. 

This lovely landscape features a hint of a mountain in the background with cool blues, yellows, ochre, cream, white, browns, salmon, grey and touches of black. It's a gorgeous color scheme that will offer peace and tranquility to any wall.

I paint in multiple thin thick layers that ultimately catch light and shadows as well as contributing unusual color elements to the image as the next layer is applied. This technique not only creates a three-dimensional quality to the original as well as prints, but it also adds a richness and dramatic effect. 

This is a large piece, 36" x 24" x 1.5" (sides painted, no frame needed).
