"Horizon in Bloom" - Original Artwork

In Horizon in Bloom, I wanted to capture the joy and abundance of a summer day in full color. Inspired by the gorgeous sunflower fields near where I live, this scene seems to go on forever! Layers of thick, textured petals stretch endlessly toward the sky, their golden faces turned to the sun. The rich greens of the leaves ground the scene, while the field seems to spill into the distance until it meets the soft blue above. This painting is about that feeling of standing in a place so full of life and light that it lifts your spirit — where beauty reaches all the way to the horizon.
