"Together” - Artwork

This adorable pair of cardinals is one of is my newest cardinal paintings. I just love their gorgeous red feathers and red-tinged feathers. I love seeing them together!

Did you know that, frequently, northern cardinals mate for life—almost as often as humans do! Some pairs of cardinals stay together all year long in their nesting territory. In other cases, the birds leave the territory and join a winter flock, but the same pair is likely to go back to the same nesting area the following spring.

Do you believe that they bring a message from a departed loved one? I do! Many people believe whenever you see one, it signifies that they are visiting you. They generally appear when you need or miss them the most. They also come through moments of joy and sorrow to let you know they will always be there for you.

This is an original, one-of a kind painting created using the finest acrylic paints and mediums, using mostly palette knives, non-traditional implements, and some brush work.
