"Heaven's Heart" - Original

“Heaven’s Heart” is a mixed-media work that explores love, grace, and divine compassion. I built the composition through layers of collage, soft washes of color, and my signature palette-knife textures, creating both visual and emotional depth. Subtle fragments of florals and script are interwoven beneath the surface, symbolizing the layers of experience, faith, and memory that shape the human spirit.

The angel, robed in deep violet tones, radiates peace and light. Her sculpted wings rise in textured arcs of white, symbolizing purity and protection, while the luminous gold halo conveys transcendence and sacred energy. At the center of her chest glows a red heart — the “heaven’s heart” — representing unconditional love and spiritual renewal.

This piece reflects my ongoing fascination with how texture, symbolism, and color can merge to express both strength and serenity in my Angels. Through “Heaven’s Heart,” I wanted to evoke a sense of comfort and connection — a reminder that love endures, and that divine grace is always near, quietly surrounding us like light through open wings.
