"Pansy Parade" - Original Artwork

When I created this piece, I wanted it to feel like a joyful march of color — a true parade of pansies showing off their vibrant personalities. Each bloom carries its own character, from the deep purples to the sunny yellows and bright oranges, layered thickly with my palette knife so they almost leap off the canvas.

The patterned blue-and-white vase gives them a stage to gather on, while the sky-like background lets their colors shine boldly. I think of pansies as cheerful little companions, and in this painting they feel as if they’ve lined up together to celebrate the beauty of the season. Pansy Parade is meant to bring a burst of joy and light wherever it’s placed.
