"Soft Landing" - Original Artwork

In Soft Landing, I wanted to capture the quiet beauty of a butterfly pausing on a marigold. The flower is built up with thick, textured strokes in warm oranges and golds, while the background features a soft “bokeh” effect — those out-of-focus points of light known in photography, but just as charming in a painting. The warm, layered tones of the butterfly stand out against the cool blues, inviting the viewer to pause, breathe, and feel a sense of calm and appreciation for life’s fleeting moments.
