"Monument Blush" is such a joyful piece to me—it really captures the energy and beauty of springtime in Washington, D.C. The thickly textured clouds in the deep blue sky give the whole scene a feeling of motion, almost like the day is unfolding in front of you. Below the vibrant cherry blossom petals, you can spot a crowd of happy visitors, each one adding to the lively, celebratory atmosphere of the moment. I wanted to convey a sense of awe and wonder, not just for the monument itself, but for the spirit of the people enjoying such a beautiful day.
