"Cathedral in Bloom" celebrates the beloved Flower Mart, an annual spring tradition at the Washington National Cathedral since 1939. Now in its 86th year, this vibrant festival fills the Cathedral grounds with blooming flowers, cheerful white tents, and joyful community spirit. I used bold palette knife strokes to capture the texture and movement of the day—the lush blossoms, festive energy, and the grandeur of the Cathedral rising in the background. It’s my tribute to the beauty, tradition, and the shared joy of spring in full bloom.
