“Cherry Blossom Serenade"- Artwork

This palette knife painting captures the Jefferson Memorial as seen through a curtain of fresh, delicate pink cherry blossoms creating a dreamy, romantic atmosphere. Fragrant petals entice the viewer to step into the tranquil scene, while the textured strokes of the brush make blossoms come alive.

I created this piece depicting this scene when the blossoms were in peak bloom, when millions enjoy the cherry blossom trees when they bloom in spectacular fashion every spring along the West and East Potomac parks.

Capturing the wonder of DC cherry blossoms in springtime, it's a truly magical sight to behold. Nature has a way of mesmerizing us, and I'm grateful to witness this special time and try to recreate its fleeting beauty. This painting is an invitation to pause, and appreciate the simple charm of nature.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to share my passion with you. I hope this painting brings you joy and serenity, reminding you of the beauty found in the little things. Thank you for letting me be a part of your artistic journey. I genuinely hope this painting resonates with you, just as it does with me.

This is an original work created using the finest acrylic paints and mediums, using mostly palette knives, non-traditional implements, and some brush work.  (The sides of the thick, 1.5" profile of this gallery wrapped canvas are painted, no frame needed).
