"Dances with Thunder" was inspired by my love for horses and their beautiful, soulful presence. I’ve always been drawn to their quiet strength and the way they move with such natural grace.
I used a palette knife to create thick, textured layers that bring out the energy and motion of the horse. The reddish-brown tones, flowing mane, and strong stance are meant to capture a moment of movement—powerful yet free.
This painting is my way of honoring the spirit of the horse, and the sense of freedom they seem to carry with them.
