"Gogh Iris"- Artwork

I love combining the colors of purple, green and dashes of yellow and the lovely iris gives us a perfect reason to do so! The iris takes its name from the Greek word for rainbow which is also the name for the Greek goddess of the rainbow, Iris!

This piece has tons of texture, as the huge blooms gently wave in the wind. I hope you love it as much as I do!

This is an original work created using the finest acrylic paints and mediums, using mostly palette knives, non-traditional implements, and some brush work.  The sides of the thick, 1.5" profile of this gallery wrapped canvas are painted, no frame needed).
