"Golden Wild" - Original Artwork

I loved the idea of painting a cheetah in a way that felt less literal and more about color, personality, and texture. The warm oranges and golds of "Golden Wild" gave me a chance to play against deep greens and touches of blue, creating a strong contrast that makes the cheetah really come forward.

I used my palette knife to build up the surface with thick, expressive marks and let some of the colors stay unexpected and loose. I’m always drawn to paintings that feel lively rather than overly polished, and I especially loved playing with the pattern of the spots, the rich impasto texture, and the dramatic color in this one.
