In Joyful Arrangement, I wanted to capture the playful energy of yellow and pink tulips in full bloom. Using thick, impasto strokes with my palette knife, I brought the vibrant petals to life, giving them texture and dimension that almost seem to leap off the canvas. The tulips are nestled in a ginger jar vase, which I created by hand-painting and collaging papers, giving it a unique, layered quality that complements the dynamic blooms. This piece is all about celebrating the joy and vibrancy of spring—its cheerful colors and textures are meant to bring warmth and happiness into any space.
