Inspired by the breathtaking coastal views of Carmel-by-the-Sea, this piece captures the wild beauty of the Pacific as waves crash against the rugged cliffs under a brilliant, ever-changing sky. That day, the clouds swirled in joyful motion—blushing pinks and blues that felt like a dance overhead.

I painted the wildflowers in the foreground with thick, expressive palette knife strokes to echo the vitality of spring along the California coast. “Sky Dance Over Carmel” is a celebration of nature’s rhythm—vibrant, untamed, and full of wonder.
