We often see the red male cardinal, but if you look closely his partner is usually nearby! She's a little less flashy but no less beloved. Here is a pair of beautiful cardinals I saw in my garden and they seemed to be keeping a watchful eye us. I loved recreating this scene with my palette knife and texture medium.
Do you believe cardinals are our visitors from heaven? Many people do! I know I have had cardinals visit me at the most special times. Perhaps you have too! I hope so :)
