"Dancing Pansies" - Original Artwork

I loved painting this joyful bouquet of pansies — they’ve always struck me as little faces full of personality, and in this piece they seem to be twirling and swaying together. The bold oranges, yellows, purples, and reds play off one another like a lively dance, each petal layered thickly with my palette knife so the flowers feel full of movement and texture.

The blue background lets the colors sing, while the patterned vase adds a touch of charm and grounding. To me, this painting feels like pure happiness — a celebration of simple beauty, bursting with life and energy. Whenever I see pansies in bloom, I can’t help but smile, and I wanted this piece to carry that same warmth into any space.
