"Crown of the Coast" - Original Artwork

Inspired by the dramatic coastline of Point Lobos in Carmel-by-the-Sea, this painting captures the raw beauty of Northern California where rugged cliffs meet the endless Pacific. A burst of golden wildflowers blankets the foreground like nature’s crown, glowing against the deep blues of the ocean and sky.

With bold palette knife strokes, I brought texture and movement to the scene—from the sunlit sea to the windswept bluff rising into the horizon. “Crown of the Coast” is a tribute to one of the most awe-inspiring places I’ve ever stood, where every element feels alive and untamed.
