"Lily-Washed Coastline" - Original Artwork

This piece was inspired by the breathtaking Calla Lily Valley near Garrapata Beach in Big Sur, California. In spring, the cliffs come alive with lush waves of white lilies, winding along a quiet path that leads the eye straight to the ocean.

In my version, I opened the scene to reveal the distant sea framed between the cliffs—capturing that magical moment when blooms, land, and light all lead toward the horizon. With thick palette knife strokes, I built up the texture of the flowers, the cliffs, and the shimmering blues beyond.

“Lily-Washed Coastline” is a celebration of the wild, blooming beauty of Big Sur—where nature quietly leads you right to the edge of awe.
